This web  site will document the five-week journey of 10 students from Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU) at George Washington’s Boyhood Home at Ferry Farm in Fredericksburg, Virginia.  Dr. Bernard K. Means of VCU is their instructor, Laura Galke of the George Washington Foundation (GWF) is the site’s field director, Dr. Eric Larsen of GWF is the assistant field director, and Ashley McCuistion, a VCU student and GWF intern, is the assistant to Dr. Means. Ashley is joined by fellow VCU student Allen Huber in supervising and teaching the 2013 VCU field school students.
